Healthy alternative way to clean a toilet

Tired of your toilet looking like the picture above? All joking aside, cleaning a toilet is my least favorite thing to do. Especially scrubbing to remove the stain from hard water. If you suffer from the same issue or want a healthier toilet cleaner, than look no further. Toilet bomb offers an excellent alternative to clean you toilet.

We will go through each of the ingredients and how the powerful combination of 3 ingredients to a sparkling clean toilet.

Ingredients:

Baking soda: Mild abrasive, deodorizes and effective at removing stains. A natural way to clean for many years.

Citric acid: Descaler, stain remover to tackle limescale, hard water and rust. Safe for septic tanks. Before I discovered citric acid I always used baking soda and vinegar to clean my toilet. Adding citric acid helped tremendously in removing the hard water stain around my toilet bowl.

Vinegar: Dissolves mineral deposits and kills bacteria while neutralizing odor. Side bar, vinegar is one of the best natural ingredients in neutralizing odors. I use when ever a dog is sprayed by a skunk, better than tomato juice to remove the odor. P.S. place bowls around the house to remove odors.

Fragrance/Essential oil: Great way to add additional scent to your bathroom while cleaning.

How to use:

-Drop in the toilet bowl

-After 5-10 minutes, a light scrub to remove any stains

-Flush toilet and you have a clean bowl

Other Uses:

Since I love how the toilet bomb tackles the hard water stains, I use this in bathtub and sink to remove the hard water and soap scum. Just fill the tub or sink with water, drop a toilet bomb, wait the same amount of time as the toilet bowl. Then wipe with a clean rag.

When cleaning my sink I would scrub forever even with the baking soda to remove the hard water. Again, the citric acid adds a boost of cleaning power to clean. Now its a simple wipe of the sink and now my sink looks brand new.
