How I became a believer and my service to God

I grew up in a household where we believed in Jesus Christ as Lord, but I was never truly taught how to live for him. About 13 years old I was struggling hard with life situations and suffered severe depression. I used to self-harm to relieve the pain I had so deep within me. Then God spoken to me that if I ended my life, I would have eternal separation from him. I stopped the self-harm and knew one day he would use me to serve him. Over the decades I suffered with depression and assumed this is my punishment for my sins. Though I continued to live my life as I wanted.

Until I reach my 30's finally one day I knew my time has come to serve the Lord. I wanted my family to know of Jesus and found a church home. This is where I began to learn to follow God and how to serve him. Though my depression did not improve over the years and I just wanted one day to be happy. Never knew what it was like to live a day of being happy and loving life. Prayed every day for just one day of happiness, but in return God began to heal me from things in my life that I was holding onto. There were things that I did not even know I was holding on too. After a couple months of healing, I started to ask God please just give me one day of happiness and I will be okay with depression for the rest of my life as my punishment.

Then that is when it all changed. A dark cloud lifted off me and the dark thoughts were finally gone. Truly now I know what joy is in life. Thank God, he healed me in many more ways than I thought I needed. I promise you that God can heal you. May not look like my story but you have a story to tell.

Now going forward God can use me to serve him for his kingdom. I'm going to the switch topic to where I'm currently at in life and how God used my defects for his glory.

Since I was a young child, I always suffered from severe allergies and eczema. Finding little to no relief with medications. I was introduced to healthier cleaning products and seen a decrease in my symptoms. One day I wanted to learn how to make soap to see if that would help my eczema. While I was researching my husband attended farmer markets. People were requesting soap in the markets. Now not only did I need to find a great soap for me but to help others. After trial and error finally had a recipe for an excellent soap. Fast forward over 5 years now I understand my allergies and eczema would be used for God's glory.

I quit my job as I was unhappy and God lead me to start full-time in making and selling healthier personal care/cleaning products. Customers who suffer from skin conditions like eczema are coming back and saying the soap improved their skin conditions. This is where God took what was meant for evil and gave me the tools to help others find relief through him. God created everything for a purpose, and we just need to find a way to heal through him. I can't guarantee that my products will heal your conditions, but I can guarantee you God will heal you.

Pray this my story leads you to Jesus. He wants to give you everlasting life with him in Heaven and healing while on Earth. We need to find Jesus and learn how to use what was meant for evil to glorify God. Amen.
